A Chieftain of the ru has extended his felicitation message to the nation’s founding fathers, President Mohammed Buhari the C in C of the Federal republic of Nigeria,Kogi state Govermor, Alh.Yahaya Bello and Citizens as the country celebrate her sixty two years of uninterrupted and corporate existence.
Tajudeen Bisimilahi in a felicitation message in Lokoja from the sideline of the country’s sixty two years Independence anniversary posited that the country and its citizens deserved celebrating themselves judging that the founding fathers fought for freedom at a great cost for the country to secured her self control.
He explained that it is also desirable to mark it because it was a moment that the British Union Jack was lowered for the nation’s Green -White-Green flag hoisted at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos which heralded the freedom,peace, Unity ,progress and development being witness still today.

Accordingly,he pointed out that the democratic experience which according to him,has not only afforded Nigerians rare opportunity to elect their leaders at the various levels of governance since 1999 brought freedom of speech associated with it.
His words: In socio-economic development, Nigeria has also made appreciable Progress-The nation did not have more than five Universities at Independence but it presently has more 170 Universities that include federal ,States, and private universities and the same story with polytechnics and federal government Colleges Education now called Unity schools.
Tajudeen Bisimilahi equally used the venue of the nation’s Independence anniversary celebration to acknowledged accomplishments attained by the present administration in the state under Govermor Yahaya Bello for fostering peaceful co-existence mong the multi ethnic groups and the giant strides made in the areas of human and infrastructural development which are empirical for all eyes to attest to it.
While wishing Nigerian and Nigerians a happy sixty second year’s Independence anniversary , Bisimilahi reminded that advancement is not easy to come by and the forthcoming 2023 general elections provides an ample opportunity to end the era of endless blame on pathetic leadership for the nation’s woes ,so that Nigeria can take her rightful place in the comity of nations
