Nigeria @ 61: Hon. Ibrahim Aboh Felicitates with People of Omala


 

 

Charges Kogites, Nigerians to Remain Prayerful and Focus on Building a Nation For All.

The Executive Chairman of Omala LGA, Hon. Ibrahim Aboh, has felicitated with Nigerians, Kogites, particularly the people of Omala LGA, on the occasion of the celebration of the nation’s independence celebration.

The Council Chairman charged Nigerians to remain prayerful and focus on building a nation for all irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation as the country celebrates 61 years of independence from the British colonial masters.

Hon. Aboh said the country has many reasons to celebrate despite the mirage of challenges that is confronting the nation, stressing that the word of God said, in all things, whatever the situation we should learn to give thanks to God.

He said though the country may not have gotten to its expected point in terms of development but commended the current administration under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari for his doggedness, determination and commitment to put the country on the path of progress.

The Council Chairman equally congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello on the occasion, prayed God to make him the next President, insisting that he has shown capacity as a unifier.

Hon. Aboh said it is the responsibility of the citizens to support and cooperate with its leadership as that is the only way the country can have a headway, stressed that the country has the capacity to overcome the security menace if all and sundry cooperate and support the relevant agencies to tackle the scourge.

He used the opportunity to call on Nigerians to support the presidential aspiration of Governor Yahaya Bello being the youngest Governor in the country who has achieved a lot across all sectors of the state economy, noting that Kogi State security architecture still remains very strong to put the criminals under check.

Hon. Aboh Congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari, Governor Yahaya Bello and indeed Nigerians for the celebration of the 61st independent of Nigeria as a country.
