Niger state Council of NUJ has described Late Sabo Adamu, Retired Director Information as a determinant factor between Journalist’s and the House of Assembly.

Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Niger State Council joins the family members, friends as well as staff and Management of Niger State House of Assembly in mourning the death of Alhaji Sabo Adamu, Retired Director, Information Services of the Assembly who died today 26/11/2022 in Minna at the age of 65.

In his condolence message, the state chairman of NUJ Comrade Abu Nmodu, said the union was sad with the death of Alhaji Sabo Adamu, in view of his long years of professionally projecting the image of the State legislature starting from the aborted third republic till his retirement from service in November, 2021.

Comrade Abu Nmodu, described the deceased as an advocate of peace, a determinant factor within the media industry,  a workaholic who was ready to accomplish any task assigned to him without hesitation.

The State NUJ chairman recalled how late Alhaji Sabo Adamu, effectively coordinated information activities of the Assembly ensuring harmonious relationship between the lawmakers and the journalists while providing level playing field for lawmakers to air their views both at plenary and during  interactive sessions.

Comrade Nmodu said the deceased would be remembered for his simplicity, honesty, hardwork, and a rallying point for journalists covering the activities of the House.

He then prayed Allah to forgive the deceased his shortcomings, grant him aljanatu firdaus and give the family, Speaker Niger State House of Assembly , Barrister Abdullahi Bawa Wuse , as  well as friends far and near, the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
