By joshua NGC National Chairman Directs Kogi Chapter to Mobilize Support for Zacch Jonathan’s Kogi West Senate Bid
The National Chairman of NGEI/NGC, Comrade Idris A. A., has directed the Kogi State chapter of the New Generation Coalition to develop a strategic campaign plan to support Surveyor Zacch Jonathan’s bid for the Kogi West Senatorial seat under the NDC party.
In a directive issued on Tuesday evening, the National Chairman called on “great Kogites” to rally behind the State Chairman, Dr. Frank, and the party’s candidate, describing Surveyor Zacch Jonathan as a “credible and formidable brother.”
He instructed the NGC Chairman, Kogi State, to draft a “friendly, cost-effective strategic plan” aimed at bringing the candidate closer to voters across Kogi West. Key elements of the plan include:
1. Town hall meetings in each ward that makes up the Kogi West Senatorial District.
2. Voter mobilization for the party’s presidential candidate, Prince Adewale Adebayo of the SDP, with the note that “NGC is candidate-oriented and not party-blind.”
3. Door-to-door campaigns to expand grassroots reach.
4. Media engagement by pushing Surveyor Zacch Jonathan to commence frequent press conferences.
5. Online meetings to involve platform members and assign them to cover more ground.
The National Chairman further directed that the Kogi State Chairman should discuss and reach a compromise with the candidate on all proposed actions.
He concluded by appreciating all members for their commitment to the party’s objectives.
