A sports Initiative Organized to foster unity and to engage youths positively has commenced in Agassa, Okene LGA.
The Football and Volleyball competition began on the 14th, would be rounded up with a grand finale on the 20th.
The community shield tournament is holden in Agassa, Okene LGA, is a
competition organized by NEWMAP in conjunction with a construction company, NBHH Nig. Ltd., is aimed at using sports to engage youths positively and to discourage them from engaging in antisocial vices.
Speaking with the Project Coordinator of Kogi State NEWMAP, Barr. Ladi Jatto, said the Initiatives is in line with Gov. Yahaya Bello’s Initiative at uniting all segments of the State and empowering the youths.
