New Year message: Hon. Wemi Jones urge Kogites to be peaceful, united, shun divisive tendencies.


 

Says 2023 will be more rewarding in education sector and Prosperous.

 

The Kogi State Commissioner For Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones has asked Kogites to look forward to the year 2023 with renewed hope and prosperity in the education sector.

The Commissioner in a message of congratulations to Gov. Bello, Members of the State Executive Council, Management, Staff of the Ministry and the people of Kogi State, described 2023 as a year of renewed hope and prosperity.

“We must seek to do things differently; and in doing so, let us become peace ambassadors of God. Hate and strife never build a state; they even destroy faster. “Rather, unity and understanding bind a State and nation,” he said.

The Commissioner urged Nigerians particularly people of Kogi State not to lose faith assuring that with the dogged determination as shown by Gov. Yahaya Bello, challenges are surmountable, expressed optimism that 2023 would open up more frontiers of development in the State’s education sector.

In his message issued to Newsmen, Hon. Jones stated that although 2022 was challenging for people all over the world, the State Governor he assured continued to pursue the common desire of a just, peaceful and prosperous Kogi State, prayed God to grant Gov. Bello more wisdom and good health as he pilots the affairs of the State.

He praised the infrastructure development witnessed by the State in 2022, said many more of such achievements would be rolled out in the New Year, called for sustained support for the present administration at all levels.
