A Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba, SAN, has congratulated the immediate past Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and ex-Senate spokesperson, Senator Ajibola Bashiru on their emergence as the ruling party’s national chairman and national secretary respectively.

The duo of Ganduje and Bashiru were confirmed as the national chairman and national secretary at the meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party held on Thursday in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja. They were elected to replace Senator Abdullahi Adamu, former chairman and Senator Iyiola Omisore, erstwhile secretary who had earlier resigned from their positions.
In a congratulatory message to the new APC Chairman and Secretary, Ndoma-Egba, a former Senate Leader and Chairman of Campaign Planning Directorate of the defunct APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 election, said: “I congratulate His Excellency, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje and Senator Ajibola Bashiru on their emergence as National Chairman and National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) respectively. They are emerging at a critical time in the history of our great Party and nation. They have the historic challenge of entrenching internal democracy in the Party, ensuring Party unity, formulating a proper reward system for Party faithfuls and fidelity to the electorate by holding our government to its promises to the electorate and a better life for all Nigerians. I wish them well in their new responsibilities.”
