National HYPPADEC Holds Health Week For Staff, As Managing Director Assures of Better Days For Benefitting States.

has tasked staff of the Commission to make healthy lifestyle a priority, this is as he assured benefitting HYPPADEC States that the best is yet to come.

The Managing Director made the disclosure in Lokoja at the opening ceremony of health week for HYPPADEC Staff organised simultaneously for Member States in Lokoja, said productivity would best be enhanced in the Commission if the staff are healthy.

The health week held in Kogi State is organized by HYPPADEC in Collaboration with Oxee HealthCare Limited, has all the Staff of the Commission as participants.

Yelwa while declaring open the health week advised the workers to avail themselves of the opportunity provided by the Commission to be more informed of the dos and don’t that would ensure that they live a healthy life.

 

Represented by the Director Finance and Administration of HYPPADEC, Alhaji Jimoh Haruna Gabi, reiterated that the health week became necessary because having healthy staff will no doubt promote a healthy commission that would help to fast track the attainment of it’s mandate.

Yelwa reiterated the determination of the Commission to ensure that HYPPADEC States benefits the objectives for it establishment, said the addition of Kaduna, Nasarawa, Taraba and Gombe States to benefitting States, underscored the fact that the Commission is meeting it objectives.

The Managing Director urged the staff to make use of the information gathered from the sensitization program, described health as wealth, adding that a healthy workforce would guarantee productivity in the Commission.

Earlier in a welcome remarks, the Kogi State Coordinator of HYPPADEC, Engr. Oguche Joan described health as wealth, added that good health ensures productivity as reasons for the program.

She added that good health brings about effectiveness in work places and allow staff to enjoy reward for labour, urged the Staff to take the opportunity provided to live healthy towards improve productivity.

Highlights of the Program was various presentation by medical experts who made presentation on the need for staff to be physically, mentally and spiritually sound for better productivity in the work place.

They health experts listed the benefits benefits of wellness to include; improve employee productivity,
Improve organization as well as improve lives of employees.

Speaking at the sensitization, Julius Enemaku and Abubakar Mariam staff of the commission expressed appreciation for the training program pointing out that it was an eye opener as it has enabled them have a better understanding of how to live healthy lifestyle.
