The Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association NATA, Kogi State Chapter has honoured the Founder of the Enemona Foundation, Mr. David Gabriel Onoja with an award as NATA Ambassador.
Performing the presentation, Comr. Danladi Umar, Kogi State Chairman of NATA described Mr. David as a rare gem philanthropist who has endeared himself to the hearts of NATA Members by reasons of his support to the less privileged in the society.
The State Chairman explained that if Kogi State can have a few of the likes of Mr. David, the State would have been a better place, described him as an exceptional philanthropist the world has been waiting for.
He maintained that Kogi State NATA have watched his disposition to touching lives in a positive ways, urged him to continue with his good stead of giving back to the society.
Responding, Mr. David maintained that every individual has a purpose on earth, urged people to see life as one of impact, to give back to the society, expecting nothing in return.
Mr. David who reflected on his life journey, said from a humble beginning, as an Okada man, while growing up, hawked fish on the streets to help in feeding his family at a tender age, said he made a promise to help humanity as his driving force behind giving back to the society.
The Founder of Enemona Foundation said having discovered that it was God who helped him to where he is today, promised to continue to help the poor because he has gone through that paths in life.
Mr. Enemona, promised to give NATA the necessary support that would help create an enabling environment for them to ply their trade, described NATA as a veritable association with pride and dignity.
He commended the Government of Gov. Yahaya Bello for his efforts in youths and women empowerment, says on his parts he will continue with gestures that would help in reducing youths restiveness and indulgence in political violence.
He listed efforts in the payment of medical bills, supporting educational pursuits as a price he has to pay in impacting lives of the less privileged, promised to continue to live for humanity as it is a passion that makes him happy.
While promising to take his philanthropic gestures to other parts of the state, tasked the NATA members to seek for a befitting place within the capital that would serve as workshop for his intervention and support.
