Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has appointed Senator Hassan Mohammed Nasiha Gusau as Deputy Governor, following the impeachment of Barr. Mahdi Aliyu Gusau on Wednesday.
Until his appointment, Hassan Nasiha was a Senator representing, the Zamfara Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly.
In a statement, the spokesperson of the house, Mustafa Jafaru Kaura, said the former Deputy Governor was found guilty of all the allegations levelled against him.
