NASEEHA Foundation organises training For Imams, Islamic Preachers in IHITISAAB in Lokoja.
… Says training is geared towards impacting rules, skills.
Imams and Islamic Preachers have been advised to continuously seek knowledge to enable them meet with changing times.
Muhammad Saleh Haruna, the Program officer, Naseeha Foundation, Kano gave the advice at a one day training course in IHITISAAB, it’s rules and skills, organized by the Foundation in collaboration with the Kogi State Council of Ulamaau at a Training organised for Imams and Islamic Preachers.
Muhammad disclosed that when Imams and Islamic Preachers seek knowledge, it will enable them teach and preach to their people in accordance with the Holy Quran and contemporary times.
He urged the Imams and Teachers of Islam to seek for more knowledge to enable them teach very well and impact the right knowledge to their people.
He said the skills that would be impacted on the Imams and Teachers would enable them to teach their members with the right knowledge.
In his message, the Chief Iman of Lokoja, Central Mosque, described the training as coming at a better time, advised Imams to step down the knowledge to other teachers and Muslim Ummah.

Idris Babango, Administrative Secretary, Kogi State Council of Ulamaau, urged the Imams to focus on how to teach their followers, leaders, and those in authority on respect , discipline and how to practice their faith in righteousness.
Munsur Nayashi, one of the participants said he has learnt new ways and methodology in teaching peace and Islam.
He added that with changing times, he has learnt new style and skills on how to preach to the people.
