
The National Association of Kogi State Students NAKOSS, Bayero University Kano, has described the ongoing
rehabilitation of Okene-Lampese-Ibillo-Lagos Federal Road which had been in deplorable state for over 15 years by Barr. Natasha Akpoti as worthy of emulation.
In a statement signed by Comr. Abdulhamid Idris, NAKOSS President, BUK, described the rehabilitation of the road as commendable described the philanthropic gesture by Barr. Natasha Akpoti who is single handedly embarking on the rehabilitation of the road as laudable.
The National President described travelling on the road as one that has become a nightmare to motorists and other road users as a result of the worsening condition occasioned by the many failed portions on the road, urged other Nigerians to emulate her good gesture.
The rehabilitation of the road which is in progress has seen truck drivers have been lamenting that they spend several days on the road when their vehicles get stuck.
The BUK National President said Barr. Natasha has proven that the citizens need to join hands with the Government to partner in development, described it as worthy of commendation for Barr. Natasha.
The National President commended Barr. Natasha, assured her that her good works in Nigeria would not go unnoticed by the youths and students of Kogi State origin in BUK in particular, wished her well in her endeavors.
