Leadership is often regarded as being earned not given. I say leaders are born; born with the gift to lead, to make better, to absorb challenges while making a meaningful impact in the lives of their subjects. Such are the attributes embedded in the man- HE Governor Yahaya Bello, Executive Governor of Kogi State. At 46, having assumed power as governor at about 40, my leader has shown that the skills to manage human and financial/material resources have nothing to do with age but God-given talent, enigma, pragmatism and sheer intuition and passion to liberate people from socio-economic shackles.
I have taken steps, still taken more steps and will continue to take more and more steps to help my leader, HE Governor Yahaya Bello, lead this country come 2023. It is a known fact that North Central has never produced a president before- not even a vice-president. It is only fair for the APC, our great party, to beam their searchlight on this trusted young man- full of energy, passion, and the willpower to serve and fix this country- to consolidate on President Muhammadu Buhari’s achievements.
It was Racheal Jackson who said, “Our youth are not failing the system; the system is failing our youth. Ironically, the very youth who are being treated the worst are the young people who are going to lead us out of this nightmare”. I call on our great party to consider this and ensure the youthful Governor is given the opportunity to rule this country and lead us to greatness
On Governor Yahaya Bello’s mandate alone I stand. On this mandate I am committed and I call on my supporters, family, friends, well-wishers, party faithful, Ijumu people, Kogites, and Nigerians at large to join me and support his excellency, Yahaya Bello, to preside over this country come 2023.
I will push through with this with all available resources at my disposal.
