Muslims tasked to seek more ways to better humanity – Asiwaju Asiru Idris


 

Muslims have been asked to seek Allah the more in their daily lives as well as seek new ways towards improving humanity and mankind.

 

Hon. Alh. Asiwaju Asiru Idris, the Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget, and Economic Planning, gave the charge at the 1443 A.H NEW YEAR HIJRA COMMEMORATION LECTURE AND UNVEILING OF THE HIJRAH CALENDER Jointly organised by the coalition of Islamic Organizations In Kogi State.

The occasion which is to commemorate the Annual Hijrah Celebration was held with a Lecture.

 

The exciting event held at Sharif Ishaq Aboki Central Mosque, Marine Road Lokoja on Muharram 1443 AH with the Theme “Hijrah, The Beginning And Unending Islamic Years and the topic Hijrah As A Turning Point In The History Of islam.

Hon. Asiru who was the Chairman of the Occasion commended the inter Religious harmony existing in the State, urged Muslim faithful to seek better ways towards improving the quality of lives of their neighbors.

The Chairman of the occasion was ably represented the Executive Chairman Yagba East LGA, Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq Ijagbemi.
