Ajaokuta House of Rep. Member, Lawal Idrisu Named Kogi Built Environment Man of Year


 

 

…..as WACL partners BEBM Exhibitions to train tilers

 

 

The House of Representatives Member, for Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Hon. Lawal Muhammad Idrisu has been nominated for 2022 Kogi Built Environment Man of the Year Award.

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Director of Media and Publicity of BEBM Exhibitions, Mr. David Anuwe.

 

According to the statement, the award is in recognition of Hon. Lawal Idrisu’s support and contributions to the development of the Building Environment industry.

 

The statement emphasized that Hon Lawal Idrisu has enormously contributed to both the practice and the enhancement of the building industry and he deserves to be honoured with the award.

It further added that “Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions which is an annual event of the BEBM Exhibitions is being put together to forge strong synergy between manufacturers and end users of building materials in an attempt to bring about proper use and management of human environment and its natural resources.

 

It is the biggest housing and construction expo in Kogi State. It showcases building materials and promote conversations on the Built Environment development and the annual event is always divided into three parts; Exhibition of Building Materials and Talents, Conference/ Public Conversation and an Award Ceremony to appreciate excellent contributions in the built environment sector.

“The Statement also announced a partnership between BEBM Exhibitions and the West African Ceramic Limited to train Tilers in Kogi state on the handling of floor and wall tiles work.

The training is to hold during a WACL DAY day during the exhibition. The day is christened ROYAL CERAMICS Day.

This year’s exhibition will help to assemble professionals in building profession within and outside Kogi State to brainstorm on contemporary issues relating to the environment, building materials, technologies, cost and challenges.

“The Director of Media and Publicity of BEBM Exhibitions, Mr. David Anuwe added that Kogi Built Environment Man of the Year Award is part of this year’s edition of the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions The award ceremony, he said would be conducted on Exhibition Dinner on Thursday 8th December, 2022 at the conference Hall of Idrinana Hotels and Suites, Lokoja by 6pm.
