MUKADAM ASIWAJU ASIRU IDRIS,FCA MOURNS THE DEMISE OF HON. JIMOH OMIATA, DISCRIBES HIM AS A TRUE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE PEOPLE


 

The Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed sadness, sore feeling and shocking disposition to the sudden demise of the present member representing Yagba East constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Jimoh Omiata .

The unfortunate event occurred at a Lagos Hospital, yesterday, after a brief illness.

Asiwaju Asiru in his condolence message discribed Hon. Omiata as a man of honour and a patriotic Nigerian in his lifetime, whose core values was hinged upon responsive service delivery to the people he represented, and without micing words, he justifiably exceeded the expectations of his constituents while he represented them at the 6th and 7th Assembly.

In his words ” Hon. Omiata was a fine gentleman, community builder, humanist per excellence, humble and a refined politician who did all he could to give back to the society, inside and outside political space. My relationship with him was that of a brother, friend and a progressive public office holder who never allowed the grandeur of office to becloud his sense of humanity. He was a man of the people and simple to fault.”

“No doubt, the state Government, House of Assembly family and our beloved party, APC, will sorely miss him, of much concern due to the heavy impact of his demise, is his immediate family and community”.
