In his words, ” You have all earned the trust and confidence of His Excellency and party stakeholders based on your loyalty and commitment to party progress, therefore, you must all roll up your sleeves to deliver good governance that answers to the yearnings of our people at the grassroot. You are all our eyes at the local. Hence, you can not afford to sway from the path of progressive ideologies that gives hope to the hopeless.”
” I do not doubt your capacity and competence to deliver because due diligence was done before your appointment. You must be sacrificial, altruistic, humane, responsible, and responsive in your leadership style. Only then, the expectation of His Excellency can be met at the grassroot.”
The Honourable Commissioner specifically extended his hearty felicitations to the new caretaker chairmen from Okun extraction, calling on them to show distinction and excellently justify the trust, confidence, and love reposed in them.
