Gov. Bello’s Aide, Avoyi Nwogu Organizes Free Video Editing Training for Youths


 

The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Electronic Media, Avoyi Nwogu in collaboration with a fast-rising Media outfit, the BAVON Communication – owners of Malachite Television and the Kogi Google Production, has organized a one week Video Editing Training for staff and other interesting individuals in Lokoja.

 

Avoyi, in an interview, said the training was to empower beneficiaries to enable them become self-reliant.

 

She pointed out that the era of white-collar jobs was fast fading into the tin air, stressing that the need for the youths to acquire skills cannot be overemphasized.

The SSA who has worked in a reputable Broadcasting Industry 20 years before her appointment said her desire to raise more professionals in the industry birthed the idea of the training.

While calling on them to take the training seriously, she promised that it will be extended to some parts of the State, especially – Okene Local Government Area in furtherance of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello’s charge to appointees to impact the society positively.

Some of the beneficiaries, Joy Oremeyi Dada, Okolo Victor, Aliyu Lawal Segun, among others, appreciated the SSA for organizing the training, describing it as a dream come true.

The One Week Free Video Editing Training is currently ongoing at the Greener Pastures Plaza, MLC TV Training Hall, Opposite Keffas Hall, Lokongoma Phase Two, Lokoja, Kogi State Capital.
