The Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris,FCA has expressed his heartwarming felicitations to an amiable son of Kabba/Bunu LGA and the Honourable Commissioner of Education, science and technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, 13th February, 2024.
Asiwaju, in his birthday, congratulatory message released through his media assistant hail the celebrant as an amazing brother, progressive colleague, selfless leader, and dedicated public servant whose philosophy of leadership and service is to always place the people above and at the centre of it purpose.
In his words, ” Honourable Wemi’s commitment to excellence, dedication to duty, innovative thinking and goal getting ability is not unusual because he was a consumate banker in the past and an entrepreneur per excellence where all this qualities are norm to succeed.”
“All these experiences and values have come to play in his public service life, the results are glaringly evident in our education, science and technology fiefdom, both in infrastructural development, policies and sound refroms which has rein in accolades, appealing statistics and awards for the state”.
He said the Honourable Commissioner is a dedicated APC member and a democrat in it true definition who believes politics should always be about the advancement and well-being of the people. This he has genuinely demonstrated in his political journey until today.
