The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, has felicitated with his cabinet colleague and friend, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, on the occasion of his 47th birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Asiwaju Asiru described Gegu as a dependable friend, community builder, humanitarian and committed public servant whose contributions continue to advance the development agenda of the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
He commended the celebrant for his dedication to duty and his steadfast commitment to the growth and development of Kogi State, noting that his service in the state cabinet reflects a shared determination to translate the vision of the Ododo administration into tangible benefits for the people.
“As a friend and colleague, I celebrate not only your birthday but also your remarkable commitment to service, community development and humanity. Your dedication to the progress of our dear state remains commendable,” Asiwaju Asiru said.
The Finance Commissioner prayed for God’s continued blessings, sound health, wisdom and greater accomplishments for Gegu, expressing confidence that he would continue to make meaningful contributions to the development of Kogi State and the success of the Governor Ododo-led administration.
