The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, has congratulated the former Member of the House of Representatives and pioneer Commissioner for Local and Chieftaincy Affairs in Kogi State, Hon. T. J. Faniyi, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Asiru Idris, an illustrious son of Isanlu in Yagba East Local Government Area, described the celebrant as a distinguished statesman, community builder and respected leader whose years of public service have contributed significantly to the political and socio-economic development of the people.
The Commissioner particularly commended Hon. Faniyi for his service to the people as a former representative of the Yagba Federal Constituency in the National Assembly and as the pioneer Commissioner for Local and Chieftaincy Affairs in Kogi State.
According to Asiru Idris, Faniyi’s leadership has consistently reflected a strong commitment to the welfare of the people, community development and the advancement of democratic participation, while his contributions to the political space have continued to inspire younger generations.
He further acknowledged the celebrant’s enduring role as a community leader and his contributions to the growth and unity of Isanlu Kingdom, noting that his recognition as the Oludade of Isanlu Kingdom is a testament to his standing and service within the community.
“As a fellow illustrious son of Isanlu, I am particularly proud to celebrate a man whose life has been defined by service, commitment to the people and dedication to the development of our community,” Asiru Idris said.
He prayed that Almighty God would continue to preserve Hon. Faniyi in good health, grant him renewed strength and wisdom, and bless him with many more fruitful years in service to humanity and the community.
