MILLENNIUM CLUB DOLES OUT FOODSTUFFS TO WIDOWS AND THE AGED IN KABBA AND ENVIRONS IN THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS
“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.” … Charles Dickens
Certainly, the prevailing harsh economic realities in the country have more than ever before made the need to give back to the community a necessity irrespective of hyper inflation.
For us in the Millennium Club, no doubt this year’s “We Care Programme” (Welfare for the widows and aged) was a huge concern to us for obvious reasons. But we decided to go ahead with it against all odds. It became increasingly difficult to meet up our previous quantities of palliatives distributed even though the monetary value of the token we shared in no small way outweighed the previous editions in triple folds.
The Millennium Club had to double down and ensured that this year, just as it has always done for several years now, that the aged and widows in our community were not only cartered for, but it was done carefully to avoid the unfortunate scourge of crowd stampede that occurred across the country during the yuletide where palliatives were shared out of good intentions.
To the glory of God, Millenites were able to move around the community and put smiles on the faces of our people in accordance with the below structured locations:

The recipients, who in their responses, showered the Millennium Club with prayers and also expressed the fact that in as much as they were expectant of the club’s usual benevolence, they were also scared that the unusually high cost of living and inflation may prevent them from getting palliatives from the Millennium Club this year.
Millennium club has done its little part to better humanity but our earnest prayer is that the almighty God grants the government wisdom to implement effective policies to salvage citizens from hardship. Indeed, there’s hunger in the land!
May the reason for the season continue to abide with us all through christ our Lord, Amen!
Compliments of the season.
