Military Clearing Operation: Kabba Bunu Chairman Commends Gov. Ododo, says his huge security investment in the area, unprecedented.
The Council Chairman, Kabba Bunu LGA, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael has expressed commendation to the Kogi State Government for the clearing Military operations carried out by the State Government in Kabba Bunu LGA today.
Recall that the Kogi State Government today carried out a rigorous security operations by a combined team of security agencies. The operations, which took place in identified security flashpoints within Mopamuro, Kabba/Bunu, Ijumu and Lokoja Local Government Areas, were parts of a sustained and strategic onslaught against criminal elements threatening the peace and security of the state.
Barr. Dare praised Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for his huge investment in security and to ensure that the people of Kabba Bunu LGA sleep with their two eyes closed.
The Council Chairman said Gov. Ododo has shown the people of Kabba Bunu so much love as he has never shirk to provide the needed political and other will in making the area safe and habitable.
Similarly, the Council Chairman lauded the Nigerian Army, registered the profound condolence of the people of Kabba Bunu LGA to the two Galant officers who lost their lives in the clearing operation, wished those who suffered casualty quick recovery.
The Chairman equally thanked the men of the DSS and other sister security agencies for standing up for the people, said never had the collaboration of security agencies brought result like it is presently witnessed in Kabba Bunu LGA.
Barr. Dare urge communities that instead of lamenting and blaming the government despite the huge effort by the Government in expanding resources and the military who stake their lives, call for collaboration in providing information to the government that would assist in the prevention of crime and criminality.
The Chairman called on citizens of the area who are in the habit of collaborating with the criminals, assured that their days are numbered.
He said rather than the use of media to run down the efforts of the State Government and security agencies despite the huge investment in security in the area, appeal to the citizens to provide useful information that would make insecurity a thing of the past in the area.
