MESSAGE OF CONGRATULATIONS ON THE SECOND ANNIVERSARY OF THE ODODO ADMINISTRATION
On behalf of the Management and Staff of the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA), I heartily congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, on the occasion of the second anniversary of his administration, marking two impactful years in office on 27th January, 2025.
This milestone is not only a celebration of time in office, but a celebration of purposeful leadership, people-centred governance, and visible development outcomes across Kogi State. From inception, the Ododo Administration has demonstrated uncommon commitment to inclusive growth, social protection, and infrastructural development, particularly in rural and remote communities that had long been underserved.
Under the visionary leadership and strong political will of His Excellency, the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency has recorded remarkable achievements, especially through the implementation of the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) Programme. These achievements have been made possible by the Governor’s unwavering support, prompt approvals, policy guidance, and commitment to transparency and accountability.
Since the inception of this administration, KGCSDA has successfully facilitated the delivery of critical community-based infrastructure and basic services, including potable water supply projects, rural access infrastructure, sanitation facilities, health and education-related interventions across several benefiting communities in the state. These interventions have significantly improved the quality of life of rural dwellers, reduced hardship for women and children, created local employment opportunities, and strengthened community ownership of development initiatives.
The Ododo Administration’s emphasis on community-driven development has empowered local communities to identify, prioritize, and implement projects that address their most pressing needs. This approach has deepened trust in government, strengthened grassroots participation, and ensured sustainability of interventions delivered under the NG-CARES framework.
As we transition fully into NG-CARES 2.0, the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency is now better positioned than ever to advance the Governor’s infrastructural and human capital development agenda in rural and remote areas. With strengthened institutional capacity, improved stakeholder coordination, enhanced monitoring mechanisms, and lessons drawn from previous implementation phases, KGCSDA stands ready to deliver even greater impact, aligned with the administration’s vision of a more resilient, inclusive, and prosperous Kogi State.
Your Excellency, your administration’s support has not only enabled KGCSDA to fulfill its mandate, but has also reinforced the belief that development must reach the last mile. We assure you of our continued loyalty, professionalism, and commitment to deploying every resource entrusted to us for the benefit of our people.
As you mark this second anniversary, we pray that Almighty Allah grants you continued wisdom, strength, and good health to lead Kogi State to even greater heights. The successes recorded so far are clear testimonies that the future of Kogi State is firmly on the path of sustainable development under your leadership.
