Maulud: Ponder on myriad of challenges confronting Nigeria – Hon. Justice Abdulkareem A. Aruwa Appeals to Muslims.


 

Muslims and non Muslims have been asked to use the celebration of this year’s Maulud to ponder on the myriad of challenges confronting the country.

 

Hon. Justice Abdulkareem A. Arewa, the Grand Kadi of Kogi State made the call in his 2023 Maulud message, urged Nigerians to retrace their steps and renew their faith in God.

The Grand Kadi urged for a renewal of faith in God and to imbibe the true meaning of piety, sacrifice, patience and fellowship as example field by Prophet Muhammad, stating that in this way the lesson that Maulud teaches would have served it purpose.

Justice Aruwa admonished Muslims to imbibe the spirit love, patience, tolerance and perseverance which are deep spiritual virtues that the Holy Prophet Muhammad examplified.

The Grand Kadi also urged Muslims especially the Youths to embrace the virtues of hardwork and peaceful disposition towards fellow humans, irrespective of faith, ideology, social class and ethnicity.

The Grand Kadi in behalf of the Muslim Ummah, praised and thanked Gov. Yahaya Bello for his sterling and tireless material support to religious organization in the State.

The Grand Kadi urged all stakeholders in the forthcoming Kogi State Governorship election to play according to the extant laws and rules, prayed Allah to make the election peaceful and successful, wished the Muslim Ummah happy Maulud Nabiy.
