The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has described Mathematics as a very simple subject that broadens the horizon of students to become vast in fields that makes them competitive in life.
This is as the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones adds that with the understanding of Mathematics, students will not become second fiddle in their life pursuits.
This was the summation of remarks made by Asiwaju Asiru Idris, Kogi State Commissioner For Finance and Hon. Wemi Jones at MAAI All Secondary School Mathematics Quiz Competition 2024.

While pointing out that with Mathematics, problem solving and finding solutions to life’s challenges, the Finance Commissioner says it is made easier.
Hon. Wemi Jones asked the students to take the study of Mathematics very seriously, pointing out that if they know the basic rudiments, it will make mathematics very easy even in the tertiary institution.
12 of Kogi State’s top secondary schools are engaging in the face off and in the intense mathematical battle that is underway.
