MARK EDIBO, OMALA’S NEW HELMSMAN ARRIVES ABEJUKOLO AMIDST POMP AND PAGEANTRY: PROMISES BETTER DEAL FOR ALL
Abejukolo, the headquarters of Omala Local Government Area on Saturday, 13th January, 2024 stood still in celebration as Mark Edibo, newly sworn in Transition Chairman returned home after he was sworn in and given a charge by Governor Yahaya Bello in Government House.
Speaking to a cross section of thousands of people who came out to receive him, Mr Mark Edibo said the development of Omala Local Government Area is a collective responsibility of all Omala Sons and Daughters adding that citizens must all come together to make Omala work again.
While thanking God for the opportunity to serve, MarkNoble Edibo expressed warm Appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. YAHAYA BELLO for the opportunity given him to serve the good people of Omala Local Government. He also acknowledged the support and solidarity of the APC leadership and Members in Omala LGA, elders of the land, youths and Women.
As a strict adherent of the Catholic Faith, Hon. MarkNoble Edibo who was accompanied by his hearthrob, Justina Mark Edibo, began his home coming activities with a visit to the Parish Priest of St. Mary’s Queen of the World Peace Catholic Church, Abejukolo, the Chief Imam of Abejukolo and then to the District Head of Abejukolo for prayers and blessings before heading to the reception venue at Valid Hotels.
In his speech to the good people of Omala, the Chairman said a new dawn has come in Omala as he is set to work with progressive Omala Sons and Daughters for the growth and development of the Area.He said his administration will prioritize key areas that requires urgent attention.

Speaking at the occasion, the immediate past Chairman of Omala Local Government Area, Alh. Yakubu Ibrahim Aboh called on all stakeholders in the Omala project to support the new administration of Hon. Mark Edibo for the rapid growth and development of the area.
Present at the home coming ceremony were great Sons and Daughters of Omala, including, the APC Chairman of Omala Local Government, Hon. Alih Shehu, Hon. Abel Egbita, Hon. Matthew Ochada, Hon. Halimah Mama Gold, Dr. Jude Egbita, Hon. Emmanuel Ibrahim (Complete), Onuh Alinco, Charles Oguche, Abuh China among others.
