MAAI Tasks Couples On Trusting and Making God Foundation of Marriage.


 

The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has advised newly wedded couple to put God Almighty as the foundation of their home.

The Commissioner gave the advice at the wedding of the daughter of the Vice Chairperson of Kabba Bunu LGA, Hon (Mrs) Bimpe Alfred aka Mummy Bim, said couples mus ensure that communication is highly prioritised in their marital journey.

Hon. Idris while Speaking at the wedding reception of Mr and Mrs Samuel at Kabba Bunu LGA urge the couple to allow their genuinely found love, upon which the marriage was established becloud every of their differences.

He charged the couple to allow their differences which he described as their strength as an avenue to build stronger synergy in there home, noting that marriage is about understanding, tolerance and sacrifice.

He congratulated the Vice Chairperson of Kabba Bunu LGA on the occasion of her daughters wedding, urged her to remain supportive to the couple in prayers and advise.

The Commissioner with her heartrob, Mrs Rukayat Idris graced the wedding, wished the couple a wonderful marriage life, founded on love.

 

He further advised the couples never to restrict or limit themselves of marital pleasures, said such mistakes leads to broken marriage and many homes.

According to him, ” Yes it’s good to work and attend to issues of career growth, but your home is key and must not be left as second fiddle, Mukadam stated.

He prayed for the newly wedded, that they will find favour from God in their journey wished them a frutiful marriage life to the Glory of God

Other dignitaries at the occasion include; Hon. Moses Olorunleke, Chairman Kabba Bunu LGA, All the Vice chairpersons from the 21 LGA, Kabba Bunu LGA Council leader, Secretary, Councillors and Supervisory Councillors.
