…..makes calls for self-employment for constituents
Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and PDP Candidate in the forthcoming 2023 Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency election, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim (MHR); has set yet another record of development and empowerment in the Constituency.
Hon. Shaba Ibrahim who is popularly known as Mr Projects, as of the last week of November 2022, facilitated the donation of INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE, BIG SIZE OF WASHING MACHINE AND LEATHER MACHINE to beneficiaries in the Constituency through SMEDAN (Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria).
The above items as given to the beneficiaries in the Constituency are in continuation of Hon. Shaba Ibrahim’s efforts to reduce unemployment in the Constituency. Ensuring that a sizeable number of the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency are self-employed, has remained a key focal point of Hon. Shaba Ibrahim’s representation thus far since 2019.
One of the beneficiaries popularly known as Bala Africa while sending his overwhelming message of appreciation to the peoples representative (Hon. Shaba Ibrahim), appreciated Hon. Shaba Ibrahim for the kind gesture. Bala Africa, an indigene of Kogi LGA, while thanking Hon. Shaba Ibrahim on behalf of the Kogi LGA beneficiaries, promised that they will ensure the empowerment has far-reaching impact not just on themselves alone but on their various communities as well.
Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, through his spokesperson, Muhammed Mahmoud (M-Square) delivered the empowerment items to the beneficiaries in Kogi LGA.
Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, in his remarks as delivered by M-Square to the good people of Kogi LGA, said the aim of the empowerment is for the beneficiaries to be self-employed. He urged them to use the empowerment materials diligently to make a means of livelihood for themselves and to even go ahead to become employers of labour.
In a similar development, Hon. Chado Yunusa Senior Legislative Aide to Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, while delivering the empowerment materials meant for the beneficiaries of Lokoja LGA, on behalf Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, to the beneficiaries in Lokoja LGA reminded them that indeed Hon. Shaba Ibrahim is a promise-keeper who should be trusted with their votes for a better welfare for the people of Lokoja LGA and consequently, Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency in 2023 and beyond.
One of the benefiaries in Lokoja LGA, Muhammed Abdulkadri Maikudi, an indigene of Lokoja LGA while thanking Hon. Shaba Ibrahim on behalf of the Lokoja beneficiaries, promised that they will use the empowerment to contribute their own quota towards supporting Hon. Shaba Ibrahim’s good programmes publicity in Lokoja LGA. They also promised to cast their votes for Hon. Shaba Ibrahim to return to National Assembly next year and continue his good works for the Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency. They as well promised to mobilize massively across the wards to ensure Hon. Shaba Ibrahim gets the mandate to return to National Assembly, come February 25, 2023.
Furthermore, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim assured the good people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency that he will continue to deliver more and more projects and more and more empowerment programmes to the Constituency even as he trusts that the people will return him to the House of Representatives, come February 25, 2023.
