Lokoja is Safe, Peaceful, Rumour of Bandits Attack, False, Misleading – Lokoja LGA Chairman.
The Executive Chairman, Lokoja LGA, Comr. Abdullahi Adamu has dispelled the rumour making the rounds of bandits invasion in any part of Lokoja, described it as fake news by mischief makers.
Comr. Abdullahi in a statement issued to Newsmen said the Council has been inundated of alledged attacks in Felele, Crusher and in other places in Lokoja, said it is not true but figment of the imagination of mischief makers.
The Council Chairman called for calm, assured that there is no iota of truth in the rumour insisting that Lokoja has never been as peaceful as ever.
Comr. Abdullahi assured that security measures and security agencies are at alert, warn those peddling fake news and misinformation to desist from peddling rumors.
