Members of the Lokoja branch of Biraidu District Development Association (BDDA) have been urged to ensure greater commitment to the body in the coming year.

Chairman of the Association, Comrade Obaka Meliga gave the charge in Lokoja at a special get together to mark the end of the year.

Comrade Obaka said such commitment to the growth of the body would ensure the realization of set objectives.

He particularly noted with concern, the lukewarm attitude of few members who have caused set back to the advancement of the Association.

The BDDA Chairman expressed gratitude to God for the journey so far and also thanked members for their support for his leadership.

Comrade Obaka expressed optimism that the year twenty twenty two would be greater and called on everyone to intensify prayers for the wellbeing of individuals and the Association at large.

On his part, the Patron of the Association, Elder John Ausa told members to cement their relationship with God despite all the challenges.

Elder Ausa who is a retired Permanent Secretary, said God remains the ultimate and appealed to members to do more and appreciate God always.

Also, a former Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress in the state,Comrade James Odaudu enjoined members to renew their commitment to the organisation, adding that unity of purpose was sacrosanct in realizing set goals.

Highlight of the event was special prayer led by a retired Director General in Kogi State, Alhaji Abubakar Akowe and the breaking of cola nut.
