The Chairmanship Campaign train of the former Okene Local Government administrator and the Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Local Government election, Engr. Abdulrazaq Muhammad on Monday 7th December, 2020 tour the eleven wards of the Council in what could be described as a show of strength, political capacity and display of love, support and acceptance of the candidature of Hon. Abdulrazaq Muhammad by the people of the area.
Party leaders, stakeholders, Local Government and wards executives, women and youth organisations, forums, associations, artisans and market women trooped out in their numbers to accompany the chairmanship candidate as he visit notable places and personalities to present his manifesto before the people.
At the palace of Ohindase of Okengwe, Hon. Abdulrazaq thanked the traditional rulers for their prayers throughout his tenure as the council administrator and seek for more royal blessings and prayers as he set to become the next Executive Chairman of Okene Local Government. He assured the traditional rulers that his administration will improve the welfare of the royal fathers.
Hon. Abdulrazaq and his campaign train visited veteran politicians, elder statesmen and community leaders, Alh. Abubakar Umar, Engr. Sule Aliyu and chairmen of the seven Okovi clans for their supports and prayers for the presidential ambition of Gov. Yahaya Bello and of course his chairmanship election come December, 12.
