Leave former Gov Bello alone, seek other means of getting yourself busy, Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation Tells EFCC.

The Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation has once again called on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to seek for other means of getting itself busy, pointing out that the people of Kogi State are comfortable with how former Gov Yahaya Bello administered the State during his tenure.

The Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation in a statement issued to Newsmen by Hon Isiaka Suleiman, spokesperson of the foundation in Lokoja, said the people of Kogi State never complained of any missing money.

He disclosed that the administration of former Gov. Bello has left legacies of achievements, said it wouldn’t have been possible if not for the prudent use of resources.

” Permit to say that the allegations levelled against former Gov Bello are laughable. You cannot claim that money the State never earned in eight years was alledgedly stolen”.

” Look at the allocation that accrued to Kogi State in the eighth years administration of Gov Bello for EFCC to have alledged that it was stolen. The EFCC have proven that they are only fighting a political fight”.

” We of the Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation hereby solidly stand by former Gov. Bello and we ask the EFCC to look for other means of getting itself busy, rather than chasing shadows”.

” We are also using this medium to appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to as a matter of urgency intervene in the EFCC face-off with the former Governor, because his intervention will show that hardwork is rewarded rather than relegated to the background”.

” The contributions of the former Governor to the APC, the ruling APC and Government is an issue of public knowledge. It will therefore a disservice if all of this are happening, yet Mr. President keeps mute”.

” We call on the EFCC and all Nigerians to come to Kogi and do an audit of the achievements of the former Governor and they will be convinced that his administration’s records remains unbeatable”.

” We are therefore passing a vote of confidence by the former Governor, urging him to be strong as the Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation is solidly behind him”.

” We of the Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation are therefore resolved to pursue to it logical conclusion the arguments with facts and figures that the hands of former Gov. Bello are clean from all the allegations leveled against him”.

” We therefore call on the EFCC not to continue with the media trial of the former Governor as we all are aware that there plan will fail, as it has fallen and cannot not stand logic, because records don’t lie”.

The Abdulrafiu Yakubu Foundation is the Brain child of Hon. Abdulrafiu Yakubu, a Business man, Philanthropist and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, hails from Lokoja LGA.
