Sir, NOTICE OF WARNING STRIKE
The Law Officers Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Kogi State Chapter. hereby issues this formal Notice of Warning Strike to the Government of Kogi State.
Despite repeated engagements with the Ministry of Justice management and
several letters appealing to His Excellency, the Governor, our legitimate demands remain unresolved. These include:
1. Harmonization of Law Officers’ salaries with those of Magistrates; 2. Payment of members’ Bar Practicing Fees;
3. Payment of members’ Annual Bar Conference Fees for 2025 AGC 4. Reversal of the removed Hazard Allowance
5. Reversal of wrong placement of members on grade levels below their ycar of call.
TAKE NOTICE that unless the above issues are addressed within fourteen (14) days from the date of this notice. members of the Law Officers Association of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, shall proceed on a 7 days warning strike action.
This notice serves as a final call on the Government to act with urgency and fairness to avert disruption in the administration of justice in Kogi State.
