Kogi Youths Troops Lokoja streets for President Tinubu’s Re-election
Youths in Kogi state yesterday trooped major streets in Lokoja, clamoring for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’ s second term in office.
The youths were carrying various placards with messages urging President Tinubu to continue in office after his first term .
They also displaced various posters such as ” Tinubu, Continuity in office is necessary” ; “Beyond 2027″ , among others.
An entertainment group also joined the youths to sing various songs in praise of President Tinubu during the parade
The youths moved from the Kogi NUJ state Secretariat towards the NTA junction and rounded up at Ganaja junction roundabout.
The Kogi state Coordinator of a group known as ” President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Door to Door Movement” , Charity Ijesse described the youths parade as “Awareness walk”.
She said the youths were made up of students, artisans and traders who wanted President Tinubu for second term in office.
” We want President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for second term in office as he has given us the government that has positive impact on Nigerians. The President has demonstrated that he has capacity to rule very well and impact on people.
” President Tinubu has impacted positively in virtually all sectors that touch Nigerians.In Education, for instance, he has established the NELFUND that makes loans available for students in higher institutions to ensure that their education is not truncated because of lack of funds.In health, this government has come up with various interventions to ensure that Nigerians irrespective of status and location have access to quality and affordable health care. The Tinubu Government has also come up with various empowerment programmes for Nigerians through the intervention of Bank of Industry and other similar government institutions .On security, the Government is also tackling the issue frontally.
” Our Governor here, Alhaji Usman Ododo is also carrying out laudable projects in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.That is why we.are supporting President Tinubu and urging him on for second term.”
