Kwara Restates Commitment to work state Community Development Council


 

The Kwara State Government has restated its commitment to work with the state Community Development Council, in order to kick start the process of rapid socio-economic change in various communities in the state.

Kwara state governor Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, gave the assurance today in Offa during a One Day Retreat Organised for all the 16th chairmen of the community Development council.

The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Communications, Honourable Abosede Buraima, said the government recognised the roles that community development associations played in the development of their respective communities, said that the government will continue to to engage critical stakeholders for the development of th state.

The Chairman of Community Development Council and special assistant to the governor on community intervention, Kayode Oyin Zubair earlier, in his remarks said the retreat will be based on the review of the activities of the government, as well as the project being conducted by the community development council in the past years.

The oyin zubair noted that the council will also criticise government’s activities, to ensure the government provides a project that will meet the needs of the people.
