The MFD Campaign Movement (MCM) on Sunday commended Communities in MopaMuro L.G.A for their massive turnout at the rally in support of the ADC Governorship Candidate, Elder Leke Abejide and his running mate, Dr. Omede Idris.
The Road Walk, organized by MFD Campaign Movement, under the leadership of Navy Commodore Michael Folusho Daniel (Rtd), began from his residence at 4:30pm and saw the constituents of MopaMuro walking through Itakete-Ide Junction, Oke-Gada, Ijagbe, Effo-Amuro, Aiyeteju Agbajogun, Ileteju, and Odole-Mopa.
The walk grounded vehicular traffic in and around MopaMuro LGA, as several commuters resorted to trekking long distances.
The walk was also to throw support for the election of Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide and his running mate, Dr. Omede Idris, in the November 11th, 2023 Kogi State Governorship Election.
The leader of the group, Hon. Michael Folusho Daniel, in a statement, said that he was motivated by the turnout of the populace to throw support for the candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The success of the rally is a clear indication and demonstration of the preference of MopaMuro constituents as regards the choices before them come November 11th.
It underscores a clear understanding of the manifesto of the candidate of African Democratic Congress (ADC) which is essentially a commitment to community development, youth empowerment and assurance of a better future under the rescue mission movement.
Support for Leke/Omede is a vote of confidence in a promising one as a result of a highly successful achievement in their respective positions held in the time past and presently.
It is note-worthy that the group mobilized human and material resources towards the success of the rally, to harness their collective strength towards a great cause, Hon. Folusho said.
He urged all and sundry to remain undaunted as the State was counting down to November 11th gubernatorial election.
The rally, after the walk, shifted back to the residence of Navy Commodore Michael Folusho Daniel, the Asiwaju of Orokere Kingdom.
