A Paramount Traditional Ruler in Jida Bassa of Ajaokuta local government Area Chief Samson Monday the second says Kogi State is making frantic efforts for its transformation since creation.

 

 

Chief Samson Monday the second stated this during the meeting of the coalition of Bassa traditional ruler in Lokoja.

According to him the development of the state is not static stressing that the present Administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has touched almost various sector of the state economy through provision of infrastructure, Road construction, improving the health sector and security of lives and property of the people across the state.

The Aguma Jida Bassa Chief Samson Monday Commended security agents especially the current Commissioner of police for his proactive actions to nip in the board current security challenges in Bassa Local Government Area noting that his professionalism has saved further distractive tendencies.

He Congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello and the Deputy Chief Edward Onoja for working together as one and Prayed God to Grant Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja wisdom in good health to pilot the affairs of the state to greater heights.

Also speaking the secretary of the coalition of Bassa traditional ruler in Lokoja and it’s environ The Aguma of Bassa Felele Community Chief Benjinwa Angulu reiterates determination of the Bassa people to support the present Administration now and come 2023 general election noting that the interest of Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja remains their interest.

The Aguma Bassa Felele community Benjinwa Angulu called on the Bassa people to Shun their differences and partner actively with Government in power to reap gains of democracy.

Chief Benjinwa Angunllu also appealed to the state government to construct Oguma Sheria Bridge to enable commuters Cross their goods to urban areas for trading.

He called on the Bassa people to go get their PVCS to participate actively in the forth coming general election noting that the PVCS is their power.

In the meeting the Chairman of the Body the Aguma of Bassa Ganaja community Chief John Domozu called on the state government to intervene on the bad portion of Lokoja, Ganaja, Ajaokuta Road to reduce the suffering of the people.

The Royal Father described Governor Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja as great Leader’s and appealed to the state government to upgrade the Bassa traditional rulers in Lokoja and it’s environ.

Chief John Domozu said Kogi State is blessed with abaundant human resources and natural resources noting that if harnesses it capable to improve the economy of the state.
