An apolitical, non tribal and non religious pressure Group named Kogi State Progressive Ambassadors *(KPA)* has ahead party primaries issued a plea to all party delegates.
In a communique issued after their monthly general meeting, the State Ambassador of the movement Amb. A.A Ismaila outlined the following on behalf of the movement:
= The next governor of Kogi State must have the Character, Competence and Capacity to lead the state.
= Must be a Kogite in the sense that, he must understand the in and out of Kogi State, by so doing he will know the problems and prospects of the state, this factor will equally aid him to ensure that he hit the ground running as soon as he get elected with the right people accros the state in place.
= Kogi is blessed with many resources including bandery and diverse cultures, the next governor must have the practical experience as what to put in place to turn them to wealth for the betterment of our dear people .
= Must have clearly written and signed plans as to how to improve our Health, Education, Culture, Security and other sectors of the Economy.
Delegates across all parties should know that their choice of who emerge as flagrbearer is the choice of Kogi People, hence must choose with conscience and not allow your pocket be the judge of your decision.
