Kogi Young Philanthropist Benjamin Ojodale Celebrate Birthday With Motherless Babies Home, Donate Food Items, toiletries, Soap, Cash


 

Comrade Benjamin Ojodale (God First) is the immediate past Welfare Director in the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN) and an origin of Olamaboro local government area in eastern region of the State.

Ben-jerry as he is fondly called by his large admirers is also a humanist and philanthropist who is good at giving back to society as a way of thanking his God for preserving his life till date and in good health.

The Olamaboro born youth advocate, humanist and philanthropist is today commemorating his birthday anniversary and many activities has been designed to reach out to vulnerable people, sick people and including homeless babies among others.

It was a historic moment and celebration galore as assorted food items, toiletries ranging from soft drinks, soap, and detergents among others were presented to children at the Motherless babies homes by Benjamin Ojodale Foundation (BOF) who’s train is presently in Ankpa local government area of Kogi State celebrating birthday of their Grand Patron of the Foundation.

Donating the items on behalf of members of the organization, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Benjamin Ojodale, Yahaya Idris in a statement issued Friday said their Principal decided to celebrate his birthday with the children at such an auspicious occasion as his birthday.

Idris noted that in appreciation of God’s benevolence upon his numerous achievement in life, youth organization and philanthropist network where he served meritoriously and his current position where he has decided to deploy his wealth of experience for the development of the state.

“When we realized that today is the birthday of our noble friend and mentor, we decided to celebrate and emulate him by visiting and donating to charity”, said Idris.

Describing Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale as a team player in the uncommon transformation of the state, praised him for being an inspiration to the youths in the state, hence their resolve to extend the gesture to the less privilege and to assure them of a greater tomorrow.

Reacting to his birthday anniversary, the celebrant, Mr. Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale expressed happiness at the generosity exhibited by the members of his foundation towards the motherless children, and noted that by the gesture they have sent a very instructive message to the children that the circumstances they may have found themselves today cannot adversely affect their future.

He described members of his foundation as a humble and detribalized Nigerians who has effectively keyed into the uncommon transformation drive of the organization and used the opportunity to wish himself a happy birthday and more fruitful years ahead.

In their appreciation, the matron on duty at the Motherless babies home Ankpa, thanked the leadership and members of the Benjamin Jeremiah Ojodale’s Foundation for remembering them and prayed God to reward their effort with prosperity and long life. They promised to put the items into judicious use.

High light of the viwaswere the cutting of birthday cakes at each of the places visited and singing of birthday song capped with prayers for the celebrant and the donors.

Global Times Nigeria reports that various youth groups in Kogi State and beyond have equally sent in their congratulatory messages wishing the celebrant and their former Welfare Director then in the National Youth Council Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi State chapter.
