Kogi West: Hon. Sunday Karimi Campaign Organisation Caution Group Loyal to Sen. Smart Adeyemi To Desist From Fanning Religious, Ethnic Crisis in Lokoja.


 

A human rights activists, an APC Chieftain, who also doubles as the Executive Secretary, Kogi State office for Disability Affairs, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has cautioned group loyal to Sen. Smart Adeyemi, to stop peddling unfounded allegation against Hon. Sunday Karimi, Kogi West Senatorial District Flagbearer.

 

 

Barr. Dare who is the Secretary, Legal Committee, Hon. Sunday Karimi Campaign Organisation in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja, said it is becoming obvious that a group loyal to Sen. Adeyemi have choosing the social media to disparage the person of Hon. Karimi, described the APC flagbearer as a man with a Moslem background, would not preach heat against religion and ethnicity.

Barr. Dare for the umpteenth time disclosed that it is the turn of Yagba to produce the Senate of Kogi West, pointed out that this is coming after Ijumu/Kabba Bunu Federal Constituency have held on to it for sixteen years with Lokoja Koto for eight years.

While he pointed out that it is a collective resolve of all stakeholders that for a Yagba Federal Constituency that has waited for 24 years, it should now be there turn, warned that the legal team of Hon. Sunday Karimi, would have no choice but to institute legal means against anyone henceforth spreading hate speech as it regards religion and ethnicity against Hon. Karimi.

Barr. Dare particularly fingered one Hamza Uba as culprit working for his principal to disparage Hon. Karimi in some section of the social, cautioned that henceforth, he would have to substantiate his allegations in the law court as posted on his Facebook page.

Barr. Dare described the Kogi West APC Senatorial District Flagbearer as an easy going personality, with no grudges or biases against individual nor religion, pointed out that he is a man at home in Lokoja LGA, with his popularity cutting across party, ethnic and religious lines.

Barr. Dare cautioned the said Hamza Uba to desist from fanning the embers of religious and ethnic discord in a State that has cohabited peaceful, said the full weight of the law would be metted out by the campaign organization following the surveillance it has put in place to arrest and prosecute those wanting to fan religious crisis in the State… Continue reading
