The Kogi West Senatorial District Candidate for APC, Hon. Sunday Karimi has met with the Etsu Adankolo, Chief David Agbayi and Members of his traditional council in continuation of his efforts to swing votes in his direction.
Hon. Karimi while soliciting the support of the Adankolo Traditional Council for his aspiration, at the Palace of the Etsu Adankolo, described the place of Adankolo in the politics of Lokoja as vital.
Hon Karimi says if elected to the Senate, he will ensure that the peoples voices particularly people of Adankolo are amplified through his representation.
Hon. Karimi promised not to betray the people’s trust, assured that having been tested and trusted in the past, promised to make infrastructure and economic development the core of his representation.
The Senate hopeful promised to be a voice to all irrespective of divide, said he would rekindle the lost trust people no longer have in representation by ensuring that Adankolo Community gets what rightly belongs to her.
While assuring that the coast looks very bright for an APC victory, wants all hands in Adankolo to be on deck by working towards an overwhelming victory for APC in all the elections.
He however assured that if elected as Senator representing Kogi West, said he will be coming with a track record and pedigree that the people are quite familiar with, infrastructure development and economic well-being of the people.
” I was in the House of Representatives for two terms and in that Federal Constituency, we are now campaigning with what those opportunities afforded us to do for our people”.
” Going into the Senate, the stakes are expected to be higher. We must unite our people with the spirit of equity, justice and fairness in sharing opportunities to enable them see hope and light that has eluded them in time past”.
Hon. Karimi promised not to betray the people’s confidence that has brought him this far, described his aspiration as people centered, with the resolve to meet the yearning and aspirations of people of Kogi West in general, and Adankolo Community in particular if elected.
