Yemisi Oshaloto, Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC for the Kogi State House of Assembly representing Yagba West Constituency has congratulated Hon Steven Sunday Karimi on his election as the All Progressives Congress, APC Senatorial candidate for Kogi West Senatorial election.
The House of Assembly candidate noted that the election of Hon Karimi as senate flag bearer of the party is comprehensive, convincing and was conducted in a manner that left no one in doubt about his popularity.
According to Hon Yemisi, the victory was well-deserved as Karimi’s mandate is a reflection of integrity, consistency and a heart of service.
Ms Yemisi called on members of the party in Kogi West not to go back to sleep, rather, everyone should continue to consult widely towards replicating this victory at the general elections.
Hon Karimi polled 288 to defeat his closest challenger Dr Muyi Aina who scored 73. Meanwhile, incumbent Senator, Mr Smart Adeyemi scored 43.
