Veteran journalist and Editor-in-Chief of the first Community Newspaper in Kogi State, Kogi Express Magazine, Alimi Abubakar, has passed on
Recall that Late Alimi was critically ill and required financial assistant to Undergo a kidney transplant.
The news of his death was confirmed by his son Abdulkabir Alimi, said the veteran Journalist died at age 61 and has been buried in Abuja, yesterday.
Mr. Alimi has served as Secretary, Yagba East LGA and Secretary of KOGROMA under the administration of Captain Idris Wada.
Mr. Alimi died at the Teaching Hospital Gwagwalada, is survived by a wife and children.
