By joshua Wemi Jones Hails Asiru Idris on Emergence as ‘Balogun Adini of Okun’
Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, has congratulated the Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, on his conferment with the prestigious title of “Balogun Adini of Okun” by the Okun Muslim Council of Nigeria (OMCN).
Asiru Idris was also presented with a Merit Award by the Council in recognition of his outstanding contributions, dedication and service to the growth and success of the organisation and the Muslim community.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Jones described the recognition as a significant honour that reflects the value placed on Asiru Idris’ commitment to community development, religious harmony and service to humanity.
He noted that the citation accompanying the award underscores the Council’s appreciation of the Finance Commissioner’s sustained contributions to the advancement of the Muslim community and his broader impact on society.
The Education Commissioner commended OMCN for recognising individuals whose efforts contribute to strengthening community institutions and promoting shared values, describing the honour as both a celebration of service and an encouragement for continued dedication to the people.
