Kogi State NSCDC Gets New Commandant As John Kayode Assumes Office


 

 

 

A New Commandant for the Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has assumed office in Lokoja.

 

He is Commandant John Kayode

His assumption of office followed the transfer of Commandant Suleiman Ibrahim Mafara to Akwa Ibom State by the Commandant General of the Corps, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi.

In his remarks, Commandant Mafara advice his successor to avoid rumour mongers but verified every information brought to his attention.

He called on all the Heads of Department and Senior Officers whom according to him were recently posted to the State due to the ongoing reorganisation in the Corps to cooperate with the new Commandant to succeed.

Commandant Mafara expressed appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello, all heads of security agencies in the State as well as Senior and junior officers of the Kogi State Command for their support towards his success in Kogi State.

 

In his remark, the new Commandant, John Kayode appealed to the Unit Heads, Senior Officers and the rank and file to extend the same cooperation given to his predecessor to him to achieve set goals.

Commandant Mafara and Kayode both expressed their appreciation to the Commandant General for the privilege to serve assuring of the total commitment to his vision and mission of a world class Corps.

Highlights of the ceremony was the inspection of guards of honour and signing of handing over documents.
