Kogi State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Supports the BEBME; Describes Exhibition as an Avenue for Professional Engagement

The Kogi State Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources has pledged to support the Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Ministry, the Executive Director of BEBME, Mr. Oladipo Makakese Bayode said Kogi Built Environment and Building Materials Exhibitions is an annual programme organized to establish strong synergy between manufacturers and end users of building materials to guarantee proper use and management of human resources noting that this is the biggest housing and construction expo in the state as it started since 2016.

He commended Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello on his massive infrastructural transformation in the state stressing that this has not only improved the environment positively and the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people but that it has also created opportunity for both manufacturers, sellers as well builders in the building profession to be fully engaged.

He also commended His Excellency for the appointment of Hon. Victor Omofaiye as the Commissioner of Environment and Natural Resources in the state stating that the appointment is no doubt a well deserved one considering the effort and achievements recorded by the Ministry since his assumption of office, hence his choice as one of the beneficiaries of an award during the programme.

He solicits the support of the ministry towards the success of the event.

Reacting, the Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Mr. Victor Omofaiye commended the foresight of BEMBE towards organizing this programme.

He maintained Kogi State with large untapped deposit of mineral resources no doubt requires a platform like this to bring professionals in built and building materials profession to brainstorm stressing that the programme is must attend to all concerned stakeholders.

He promises the support of the ministry towards success of the event.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry was also on ground to receive the BEMBE’s team.
