The parmanent secretary Kogi State ministry of Agriculture Hajia Lami lawal Stated this while speaking with News men today in Lokoja.
Hajia Lami said it is the priority of Goverment to provide enabling environment for the improvement of agricultural produce aimed at enhancing food production in the state.
According to her food production is a priority to the lives of the people noting that farmers in the state will enjoy more Government support in this raingning season.
The parmanent secretary described Kogi State as food basket of the country noting that agricultural revolution is needful for sustainer bility.
Hajia Lami lawal Commended Governor Yahaya Bello for his efforts at transforming agricultural sector in the state and expressed confidence that the gesture will be sustained.
She also called on the people of the state to sustain their prayers for the state and the country at large and called on Leaders in authority to create more enabling environment for the Progress of the country.
The parmanent secretary appealed to the Youths of the state to venture into farming business stressing that agriculture is a viable business.
Hajia Lami lawal Commended the Commissioner of the ministry for providing leadership in the ministry and Commended staffs of the ministry for being dedicated to duties.
