Deputy Speaker of Kogi State and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed on behalf of the people of Ankpa District, congratulates the new Attah Igala Designate, Prince Mathew Alhaji Opaluwa on his appointment by the Kogi State Government.
The Deputy Speaker in his congratulatory message describes his appointment as a well-deserved selection, adding that Igala kingdom needs a person of his experience on the royal throne of his ancestors, at this point in time. He also advised that, all other Sons of the land who were contending forces to the throne should be called for proper reconciliation in the interest of peace and progress of Igala kingdom.
He commended the transparent effort of the Kogi State Government under his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs for listening to the voice of Kingmakers, the people all those involved in the selection process, while calling on Igala sons and daughters all over the world to be supportive, prayerful and committed towards an eventful coronation and peaceful reign of the new royal father.
