To further entrench the pro-people leadership style of His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello and the practiced ideology of Transparency, Accountability and efficiency in financial management of the New Direction administration, which in turn has launched the state on the global map, in our usual manner, the state financial details for the month of January is submitted for public information and perusal.
His Excellency serially stated, that the resources of the people will be used for the collective good of the vast majority, hence, the people must have the detailed knowledge of how their resources is been expended.
For the month of January, the Capital and Recurrent Expenditure is N1, 001,956,895.30 and N4,008,887,322.34 respectively.
Under the Capital Expenditure the sum total of N1,001,956, 895.30 was paid to contractors handling Kabba Township, Lokoja Township roads and Ganaja flyover.. Messrs CCECC Nigeria Limited N209,727,500.00 , Messrs TEC Engineering Company N150,000,000 , Messrs TEC Engineering Company N392,229,395.30. Also, the total sum of N250,000,000.00 was paid to KOGROMA and other contractors for various rehabilitation work done.
On the Recurrent Expenditure divide, the total sum of N4,008,887,322.34 was used for the payment of salary, inclusive of the sum of N1,041,305,324.94 for Pensions and Gratuity for the month of January, 2022.
The above highlighted details represents the Financial allocation to the two main budgetary expenditure heading, which is premised on the available resources.
As always, openness and accountability to the people shall continually be a thriving factor and a path we intend never to deviate from under the New Direction Government as led by His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Bello.
